The STIHL AK System’s HSA 60 cordless hedge trimmer is a top-of-the-line tool for maintaining private gardens. It boasts professional features in a compact and lightweight design, making it the most advanced trimmer in the STIHL AK System. The trimmer’s efficient performance is due to its powerful cutting ability and perfectly crafted blade geometry, making gardening tasks easier and quicker. The trimmer has a rotating multifunction handle for ergonomic cutting in different directions. The anti-lock braking system can be activated to free stubborn branches stuck in the blades. The anti-vibration system reduces handle vibrations, protecting muscles and joints during longer projects. The 60 cm blade comes with a screwed-on guard for protection while cutting near the ground.

Swiveling Multi-function Handle
The handle rotates 90° degrees to the left and right, ensuring the best cutting position at all times.

Convenient Neutral Battery Position
The battery can be inserted into the tool in 2 stages. In the first neutral position, the battery is secured in the tool but does not connect with the contacts, allowing for safe transport. In the second operating position, the battery is completely inserted allowing for full operation of the tool.
STIHL Electric Motor (EC)
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
Two handed design
The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control, for a fine and precise cut. The two-handed design is suitable for both left and right-handed users.
Pruning System
The single-sided precision-ground and double-sided cutting blades produce a very clean cut when trimming hedges. The 33° cutting angle delivers excellent cutting performance. The blade teeth geometry allows you to cut twigs up to 8 mm thick.
Tip Protection
Screwed-on guard which protects the blade, even when cutting near the ground.
Anti-vibration System
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
